Getting Settled
So it has been a while since my last post. But there is a good excuse. I have been busy getting my family settled in our new home. For any of you that where following my families house choices we ended up going with the second house. First house was the one we choice but it did not end up working out for us and we where starting to get close to our time being up in TLF (temporary lodging facility) so we went with house number 2. Witch I am glad we did. We have a great amount of space, great location, cute neighborhood and we are by everything:) The drive to the base is about 30 mins. But I wont be driving that everyday. Ok so Tyler will be but he doesn't mind the drive at all:) I have not taken a whole of pictures of the house yet since we moved in cause anyone who knows me knows I like to decorate and have it finished before I show it off so that is why there really aren't much. The kitchen is almost done. I kept the same theme that I have always had witch is wine/grape theame. I was going to change but I thought it would be perfect for this house. The only thing we have left to do is decorate the dinning room and I am thinking about painting it I don't know yet. but I have taken a few pictures of the kitchen. As far as the rest of the house its coming together. Mikaila's room is still the same theme its pink, black, and white with poodles and Eiffel towers. Perfect for being over there:) But she has asked to have her room painted pink so her room is not yet decorated either. Have not decided on if we are going to grant her request or not. Living room its getting there kinda. I totally changed it from what I had so its going to take longer to get done. But I have taken some sneak peek pictures of it. I am going with teal, black and white shabby chic. It probably wouldn't take so long but I am change out all of my picture frames and well because I don't want to spend 50.00 on one frame yes one frame my wonderful husband is going to have to make them for me:) You if you know me I love pictures and I have a lot of them to display so it may be awhile. Landon's room is just about done. My little fire fighter:) He has become such a big boy since we moved here. He is now in a big boy bed and he has done really good. Now as far as potty training not so much. He doesn't care if he pees in his pants. So this is going to take awhile I think. But to give you a little visual of how our house is set up here its 3 stories. The first floor witch here its called the ground floor has a half bath, kitchen, dinning room and a laundry room. Second floor has office with a door to the balcony, Mikaila's room, and living room. Third floor has full bath, Landon's room, hall closet, and our bedroom with master bath. Witch is not a master that you would see in the states.lol We have a one car garage but a car does not fit in there and that has a american size refrigerator and dryer. So this is what I have been busy doing. But not last I have been a little busy with my business. I have done two sessions since I have been here at two beautiful locations. 2 weeks here
So it has now been 2 weeks since we got here and looked at about 19 homes and we finally have a house!!! We are so excited for our up coming move to our new neighborhood, new town, and to start getting settled so we can start traveling and see the world. We don't move in till about the 28th and Tyler is finally going back to work this coming Monday. I have to say he has been off of work too long. lol But it has been nice having him home with us all this time considering he had been gone for 5 months for a deployment. I am getting back to my favorite job slowly. I have two Christmas sessions next week in some beautiful towns. I can not wait!!! But that is it for now.

Going on 6 Days!
It has now been six days since we left Charleston, SC for our new home here in England. Yes that is right my family and I are now living in the United Kingdom/ England/ Great Britain. I still am not for what this country calls it self but it is a very beautiful country and the British are very welcoming to us Americans at least so far.
Since we have been here we have been out house hunting twice now. We have looked at fourteen homes now and still nothing. But I bet our leasing agent who has been showing us these houses and probably thinking to her self she is one spoiled American Girl. Sorry we like our stuff big. lol We have learned here that the homes are very tiny and they do not have closets in the bedrooms because you have to pay a closet tax for every closet when built. Yea crazy I know. Some other interesting things are in there kitchens they hid just about every appliance in the kitchen behind a cabinet witch I like its pretty nice. When looking at homes over here you will find the washer and dryer in the kitchen most likely oh and its all in one. Yes that is right all in one. lol The bedrooms here are so small that you question if a twin size bed will fit in the room. The bathroom here don't have outlets because as we all know you could get electric quitted if using your bathroom appliance and it falls in the sink. Witch is the truth but us Americans apparently just don't care like the British do. lol The refrigerators here can not hold a gallon of milk and you can not find a gallon of milk here instead you will find 2 liters of milk. So if you do not have american sized refrigerator they you will only be shopping for a weeks worth of groceries at a time. These are only just a few interesting facts that I thought I would share with you that I have learned so far. There are so much more to come:)
Now to driving on the wrong side of the road we got a rental car on Friday and Tyler and I have been driving a UK spec car. Have to say it was scary at first but now we are starting to get the hang of it and its not all that bad. But its going to suck when we go back to the states and have to drive. lol Watch out guys!!!
So I guess this is all for now but not the end. Follow me and watch for more post about my families journey here in England.
