Going on 6 Days!

It has now been six days since we left Charleston, SC for our new home here in England.  Yes that is right my family and I are now living in the United Kingdom/ England/ Great Britain. I still am not for what this country calls it self but it is a very beautiful country and the British are very welcoming to us Americans at least so far.
Since we have been here we have been out house hunting twice now. We have looked at fourteen homes now and still nothing. But I bet our leasing agent who has been showing us these houses and probably thinking to her self she is one spoiled American Girl. Sorry we like our stuff big. lol We have learned here that the homes are very tiny and they do not have closets in the bedrooms because you have to pay a closet tax for every closet when built. Yea crazy I know. Some other interesting things are in there kitchens they hid just about every appliance in the kitchen behind a cabinet witch I like its pretty nice. When looking at homes over here you will find the washer and dryer in the kitchen most likely oh and its all in one. Yes that is right all in one. lol The bedrooms here are so small that you question if a twin size bed will fit in the room. The bathroom here don't have outlets because as we all know you could get electric quitted if using your bathroom appliance and it falls in the sink. Witch is the truth but us Americans apparently just don't care like the British do. lol The refrigerators here can not hold a gallon of milk and you can not find a gallon of milk here instead you will find 2 liters of milk. So if you do not have american sized refrigerator they you will only be shopping for a weeks worth of groceries at a time. These are only just a few interesting facts that I thought I would share with you that I have learned so far. There are so much more to come:)
Now to driving on the wrong side of the road we got a rental car on Friday and Tyler and I have been driving a UK spec car. Have to say it was scary at first but now we are starting to get the hang of it and its not all that bad. But its going to suck when we go back to the states and have to drive. lol Watch out guys!!!
So I guess this is all for now but not the end. Follow me and watch for more post about my families journey here in England.
